When a WordPress site owner installs the Boostchat – AI Assistant for WooCommerce plugin and activates a license key, the following data is transmitted to our servers:

From the store owner (WooCommerce catalog):

• Product titles, descriptions, prices, stock status, categories, attributes, and product page URLs.
• Product image URLs.
• Store URL and store settings (language, currency, welcome message, store information text).

This data is used solely to power AI-generated responses in the store’s chat widget and is never sold or shared with third parties.

From store visitors (chat widget users):

• Chat messages sent by visitors during a session.
• Name and phone number or email address, if a visitor voluntarily submits the lead capture form.
• Page URL where the chat session occurred.

Chat messages are processed in real time to generate AI responses and are stored to maintain conversation context within a single session. Lead contact data is stored in our database and forwarded to the store owner via Telegram notification (if configured).

Data retention periods:

• Product catalog data — retained for the duration of the active license.
• Chat messages — retained for 90 days.
• Lead contact data — retained until a deletion request is submitted by the store owner.

Your rights: store visitors may request deletion of their contact data by reaching out to us at hello@boostanova.com. Store owners may delete all their store data by deactivating their license and contacting support.
